How beautifuuuuuuul is york?? Everything about it is so homely and cosy and cute I just can't deal. After lots of time working and the dreaded thought of returning to University on Monday we figured we would have a fun day out somewhere close by. I have to admit I did get a little carried away in the shops and spent probably 10 times more than my friends but it's okay because it was all worth it. I picked up this lil jumper in the Whistles sale, it's super soft and comfy and just the right length for my mom jeans, huzzah.

Hope you appreciate the pic of me and Bea loling, that's pretty much how the whole day was spent.

Can we just note that i've done two posts in three days, congrats Libby, congrats.

Uni and Blogging

So it's the 21st of Jan 2015, which means it's taken me 21 days to make my first post of the new year. Ooops. I find myself getting so frustrated whenever I lose track of posting regularly, I'm fairly new at this thing and balancing my job, uni and sleeping for as much as possible plus finding time to create blog content is more difficult than I had anticipated.

I do love blogging, I love being able to share little bits of my self and my wardrobe with others and watching them do the same but the demanding creativity of it all got to me a bit in the beginning of the year. I have always been a future planner and I get very worried about what could happen if I don't focus on the right things.

My job at the moment is weirdly the most important and rewarding thing I have going on, okay i'm working in retail but I just feel like it's paving my future way more than my University Degree is at all. University is an interesting one because my time here has been so good and I am so lucky to have met so many new people and start this blog. However the actual reality of it is that my course is not what I want to do anymore but i'm too far in to do anything about it. Of course i'm still going along doing the work attending the lectures and trying to do my best, but it's very hard to engage and do well at something you are uninterested in. It's kind of like one of those subjects you're forced to do at high school where you hate the teacher, do all your essays the day before and constantly text your friends under the desk.

So after that little rant it's safe to say i'm going to try and blog as much and as often as I can, and I sincerely apologise for being rubbish. If you follow my Instagram i'm a little better at keeping new things on there.

Much Love
